For all installation costs consult a local landscape or hardscape installer. Sub structure soil conditions and final surface trafiic and drainage requirements will indicate the required method of installation. As a general guide we suggest that a wet mortar bed rather than dry sand and cement is more applicable for 2” thickness cobblestones.
Granite cobblestone custom production 2” thickness
2" thickness granite cobblestones are available as custom production direct from the quarry. As compared to inventory delivery of 4” or 5” thickness cobblestones within 3 to 9 days 2” thickness production at the quarry requires a minimum of 8 to 10 weeks for delivery to a job site in the US. There is a saving in transport costs installing 2” thickness cobblestones.
